Sovereign Asian Art Prize Gala Dinner

Gala dinner of the Sovereign Asian Art Prize Auction is going to be held in Four Seasons Hotel, Hong Kong. Dear Finalists,

I hope you are all well.

As you are aware, we are having The Sovereign Art Foundation Gala Dinner and Auction on the 27th January 2010. Tables are now available for booking! I am writing to ask you to spread the word amongst your collectors, buyers and anyone to drum up support for your finalist piece in the auction. Anyone who wishes to bid but unable to attend the auction dinner can bid for the artworks by phone on that night or by filling out and sending us the attached Absentee Bidding Form prior to the auction dinner.

Event: The Sovereign Art Foundation Gala Dinner and Auction
Date: 27th January, 2010
Time: 7:00pm cocktails, 8:00pm prize presentation, dinner and auction
Venue: Four Seasons
Dress code: Lounge Suit
Price: HK$25,000 per table / HK$2,500 per head

Event description: The Sovereign Art Foundation is pleased to honour the 30 finalists of the 2009 Sovereign Asian Art Prize. The first prize winner will be announced at the dinner and presented with his prize of US$25,000. The remaining 29 finalists will then be auctioned with the proceeds being split 50/50 between the artists and the charity. The Sovereign Art Foundation was set up to raise money to help disadvantaged children using the arts as rehabilitation, education and therapy.

If anyone you know who wishes to make phone bids or table/individual reservations for the auction dinner, please have them get in touch with me by email at teresa.yung@sovereignartfoundation.com.

Please also forward them this link http://www.sovereignartfoundation.com/art-prizes/asia/gallery/?year=2009 where they can view the finalists for auction and vote for their favourite artist. The artist with the most public votes will also be announced that evening and be presented with a prize!
